At the annual FARO meeting 25 April in Toyama, Japan, James R. Drummond, Canadian Network of Northern Research Operators, was elected as new Chair of FARO. James has been interim Chair of FARO since 1 October 2014 where he kindly agreed to take over after Magnus Tannerfeldt, Sweden.
