Annual meeting 2026
The FARO Annual Meeting 2026 will take place on Saturday, March 28, from 08:30 to 17:00 local time. The Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) will be held in Aarhus, Denmark. The FARO Annual Meeting is a hybrid event.

On Wednesday, March 25, from 10:00 to 12:00 CET, FARO will host an open session: Bridging Climate and Ecosystem Science Needs and Research Infrastructure in the Arctic. This session will focus on how to strategically align emerging scientific priorities—shaped by the ICARP IV and IPY 2032/2033 processes—with the infrastructure required to support them. Topics will include ensuring representative sampling across the Arctic, highlighting opportunities for infrastructure operators to play a key role in enabling future research.
